Walking the talk…Vogue
Since Sarkodie released his hit song ‘my advice’, there have been speculations that the song was meant as a ‘diss’ song for Shatta Wale. Many celebrities and people from the general public have applauded Sarkodie for this song.
Many thought the ‘Dancehall King’ had been given a ‘KO’ by ‘King Sark’, but lo and behold Shatta released a short video in reply to this song where the phrase ‘fxxx your advice’ was stated. Some were expecting Shatta Wale’s reply to be grander, especially after Sarkodie stated in his song that; “your whole bank account no fit buy you one tear-rubber Vogue”.
It was thought that Shatta Wale would silence all his critics, including Sarkodie, by buying a ‘tear-rubber’ Land Rover Vogue and show it off in a video. This act would have cemented his claim that he is one of the richest musical artiste in Ghana.
Many people believe this feud is not yet over, so ‘King Sark’ should thread cautiously. Also, with the release of Shatta Wale’s new album, Ghanaians, especially Sarkodie, could be in for a big surprise from the ‘Dancehall King’ since he is an expert in that regard. Anyway, all Ghanaians are waiting to see how this feud will end up. Will these two artistes go back to being friends and make good music like “megye wo girl” and “dancehall commando”? They should please not deprive Ghanaians of such great songs. My advice is that both artistes should take advantage of this attention to promote their music and maximize profits.
